Until We Meet Again Summary

The book I last read was a Bluford Series entitled, "Until We Meet Again", by Anne Schraff.

Chapter one talks about the Wills family. Darcy's father returned home after leaving with another woman for so many years. With their father's return, things were getting better for the Wills family and they would move to a new home, much closer to Bluford High, Darcy's school. Hakeem, Darcy's boyfriend, father had cancer and the shock of Hakeem and his family moving to Detroit worry Darcy. Darcy got a job as a baby sitter.

Chapter two talks about Darcy's new job as a babysitter and the scare of Hakeem moving to Detroit. Darcy met Brian Mason, a very mysterious individual whom Darcy must be careful of.  Darcy hoped Hakeem's move to Detroit would be canceled even thought she hadn't heard anything from him since they last spoke. Darcy was unable to keep focus on her family's new beginning. She kept worrying about what might be ending.

My personal reaction to chapters one and two is that I know how Darcy feels about Hakeem's situation and she doesn't want him to leave but I think she needs to be a little more considerate. His dad has cancer and moving to Detroit to seek medical help is the only way he can get help. Sometimes the one who is always helping us, is the one who in return needs our help. Also, Darcy needs to keep an eye out for Brian Mason.

The note-taking style I would use is Double-Entry Journal because it allows me to copy an entire portion of my reading into one column and then, in the next column I can write my connections, reactions or thoughts. It is an easy way to take notes because I can remember what I read and I can also remember the thought I had about it.
